PinSift is a browser extension for Pinterest. It sends Pinterest image URLs to PinSift servers so images can be checked for likely AI generation. API keys stay on the server and are not included in the extension.
PinSift stores your account email, random install ID, plan, quota usage, detection results, hashed image cache keys, image IDs, hashed account attribution for scan logs, Stripe billing identifiers, and timestamps needed to run the service.
Detection results are shared across users by image ID so repeated images can reuse the same result. Pin and poster details used for local creator blocking stay in your browser extension storage and are not sent with scan requests.
PinSift uses Hive for image detection, Stripe for billing, Resend for sign-in emails, Vercel for hosting, Redis-compatible storage for account, quota, and detection data, and Google Analytics for website and extension usage analytics.
Google Analytics may receive website page visits, browser and device information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and cookies or similar identifiers. The extension reports limited events such as install or update, active use, settings opens, scan requests, sign-in completion, and checkout starts using the random install ID. Extension analytics do not include Pinterest URLs, images, pin or poster details, email addresses, or account IDs. PinSift marks these events as non-personalized advertising data.
AI detection is probabilistic and can be wrong. You can sign out in the extension. For account deletion or data requests, email support@pinsift.space.
